qGKT7ao.png WIP-- She's the new ambassador that will be taking over the draconic emissary job from Karri. She's young but determined. Fenna is as tough as Karri when it comes to... well anything. When working with other clans, or towns and villages, she is quick to offer her paw. However, if that offering of peace is rebuffed she is more then willing to offer her claws instead. Aggression is not something she appreciates and she strives to avoid it, even if the opposing side is tough to communicate with.

Fenna isn't an emotional sort of dragon. The reason for this is due to her parents teaching her expressive suppression, which was a common practice in her home clan. On first impression it might seem that she is completely incapable of emotional expression, though when she gets to know those she's around she opens up and still shes rather bland as far as emotions go. Her displays of emotion are very mild, she does feel, just not to the extreme like those around her do. In fact, often times she can be confused by another Drake's emotional reaction to something. For this reason she is not good with situations that might call for emotional support. This conditioning has made it difficult for her to do her job (as many of the ambassadors she meets are unnerved by her lack of expression). She has compensated for it, however, by displaying a patients most of her counterparts are incapable of managing. 		light_3.png

Logic was and is paramount to her birth clan and it is that adoration of logic that drove them to adopt the tradition of expressive suppression. It is that tradition that causes them to appear cold and indifferent to most who meet them. Though they do indeed feel emotion, they know the whole volley of them, they are quite proficient at keeping them under control. Only those closest to their hearts will see any sort of emotional expression and they feel this necessary to convey true feelings towards their loved ones.

With their suppression in place they feel they benefit from a clearer mind and with their abilities to reason, learn, and teach it seems this is truth. Though, there are those individuals that do not do well with the suppression techniques of their culture. Many of their older members suffer from depression and breakdowns which can often lead to a premature end.

Fenna left her clan early in life to explore and learn from the rest of Sornieth, so she never really experienced any of the negative effects from the suppression. For her it is a matter of control in order to allow the most efficient cognitive state achievable.
