The Monastery of the Red Cat provides every its member with a handful of opportunities to explore themselves along with the world around them. Every month or so a couple of dragons prepare themselves for the journey and leave the Windswept Plateau in their quest for new horizons as well as new friends.

Old relationships are not torn apart though, and every pilgrim may return to the clan whenever they wish.

Gyatso children are all about joyful, fearless freedom of the soul. Their short, soft body fur mimics the ocean waves, and their wings are literally wings of freedom. They enjoy open spaces and sing hymns and sonates at the sky when flying in elation---with their Runes glowing and moving. Runes evolve along with their ability to speak and grow more and more intricate as the young Skydancers gains wisdom and proficiency with words.

The Wind Dragons of the Windswept Plateau are explorers. They prefer to be joyful and care-free, like the gentle and playful breezes that whisk them to new lands. Of all the dragons, Wind Dragons are the most friendly, eager to become a small part of every community they encounter before they eventually and inevitably leave, following the currents in pursuit of a new adventure. Maps, compasses, and feathers are their favored treasure.

The Skydancer species originates from The Reedcleft Ascent. They are covered in fur and feathers, but their most extraordinary feature is the gem-like sphere on their forehead. This sphere and the antennae that frame it allow Skydancers to sense magical energy and the disposition of other creatures. Their ability to read others makes excellent mediators and scouts of this gentle species. They are highly social and will rotate the care for nests and hatchlings, allowing families to dedicate ample time to caring for their newborns.
