Moonpearl is the oldest Hatchling of Dashing and Leila. Growing up, Moonpearl was as sweet as her parents. She loved exploring and finding odd... Things? She was free spirit Hatchling that wanted to live like any Snapper... Just at the comfort of home.

Moonpearl is a wild, adventurous Snapper who loves to go on long Digging trips. She's kind to everyone and often helps give directions to newbies who are lost in the Clan. Moonpearl and her sister are complete opposites when it comes to adventuring and traveling. Moonpearl loves to see new things and explore, while her sister rather just sit cozy in the Clan. When Moonpearl isn't Digging, she's walking to her Mates Clan to spend time with him and her daughters.

Moonpearl met Drifter when she was on a long Digging expedition. She walked partially into Dragonhome and saw Drifter walking out of Dragonhome. The two stopped and talked for awhile, curious about each other. She and Drifter were very similar in their adventurous ways. The two decided to meet up there every week, so they could talk. The more they talked, the closer they grew. On one of their visits, Moonpearl confessed that she was falling in love with Drifter. Drifter was surprised and left her standing there. Moonpearl felt stupid for springing it on him. A few weeks later, Moonpearl saw Drifter coming into her Clan, and he then confessed his love to her. Moonpearl was thrilled that he loved her as much as she loved him. the two Mated in her home, and had two beautiful daughters. Even though they don't live in the same Clan, they often visit each other.

Moonpearl was walking late one night during Night Of The Nocturne. The sky always remains dark during this time, and the dark always scared Moonpearl. There were no stars in the sky and no fire bugs glowing. Moonpearl stared into the dark night, until she saw a small light. The light came closer and closer to her, but she wasn't frightened. A small Lux Spectre came up to her and hummed a small song to her. Moonpearl was able to relax. She saw the Spectre in her day dreams and asked it's name. She replied Wispy, and comforted her the whole night. Now, even though Moonpearl can't see Wispy until the darkest night of Night Of The Nocturne, she knows she's there, comforting her every starless night.
