Newanay

Newanay was a dragon almost stumbled upon by Babau. Her clan wanted her gone, possibly for lack of space, but wanted her gone to someone who wouldn't exalt them. Babau was hesitant at first, having been saving money for the Clan (frugal thing that she is), but whether it was the glimmer of her gembond or the fragile doe-like legs that didn't quite support all that weight, Babau had to return to buy her, promising that she would be loved and cared for by the clan.
Babau noticed she matched Metminwi thoroughly, and she's nearly as softspoken, though she doesn't understand Coatl like Metminwi does. Despite the start of having too much dragon for not enough space, Babau has already begun to adore Newanay.

Newanay herself very much enjoys textiles. She's not what one would call fashion-forward, like the Spirals constant attempts at trendsetting, nor is she the same natural flawless beauty that Saalua puts forward even without a tertiary gene, but she loves the texture of soft fabrics, and constantly wants to nest in them. She's also taken to nesting in Poochaandi's mane.
