Smile is an oddity in the clan. She just appeared one day, smiling with the widest grin anyone had ever seen. With gleaming teeth and bright yellow eyes, she simply seemed to move in and make a den for herself. She acted like this was her home, and that she'd always been around. She seemed to be quite normal beyond her smile, much like Rainbowbrite.
Unlike with Rainbowbrite, however, many dragons had become perturbed by the new Mirror, and quickly turned to their remaining leader for guidance. Eclipse sent her best and brightest to try and learn more about this strange Mirror, to try and discover just who she was and what she was doing here. For a while, they got nothing from her.
Multiple dragons tried to pry something, anything from her. Intelligent conversation, childish queries, gentle pries, and even violent outbursts all resulted in silence. Nothing seemed to be able to break that stony, crooked-toothed grin. So it was a great shock when she finally spoke.
"I pledge my physical body
and my mental soul
to the Great Ascended."
A pause followed, the tension tangible.
"Who's words become
the flesh, blood, and bone
of my every action."
Was she devoted to a deity? But which one could ever have such a terrifying follower?
"I hope only to reach ascension
and join him
in the Void Heaven..."
Was this some Shade-tainted ritual? The dragons tensed themselves for the worst.
"...and smile... :)"
Panic ensued, even though the Mirror remained silent. It took quite some time for the panic to fade, and even more for the clan to realize who had enticed her to speak solely by arriving in the doorway. It was the mysterious Mirror Rainbowbrite, beloved clanmate and well-known confectioner. With this realization, Eclipse came to a simple conclusion. Rainbowbrite might be able to do something about this vile Mirror. So, with gentle words to leave the two alone, Rainbowbrite confronted the Mirror.
There was silence, thick and unnerving as the spotted Mirror peered silently at the female. Undulating spots, mesmerizing movements, and his ever-soothing hums had no effect on her. With every check-in, the clan grew ever fearful, until finally they approached Rainbowbrite.
With soft pleas, they decided to give him one more chance. If he failed, this Mirror would be kicked out of the clan. It was with this ultimatum that Rainbowbrite approached this newcomer one last time. He stared at her, frowning, foregoing his hums, his fluxuating spots, his movements. He was still as a statue as he stared at her.
It was a surprise even to him when he finally spoke, for he knew not where the words came from, nor why they grew ever quieter with each repetition.

The darker Mirror had lost her frightening demeanor. To the clan, she seemed calm. Tame. Neutralized. She, finally, was safe. Rainbowbrite slowly turned to the dragons behind him, and as he did so, the dark memories of the mysterious newcomer faded with the calming sense they felt radiating from the spotted male. Both of them were perfectly safe. He turned back to the new girl, and finally spoke his own words once more. It was but a single, simple statement.

Perhaps other users managed to record more of the thread in it's final moments, but nonetheless, Smile sits in my clan, a memory of a unique experience (and a wonderfully stark contrast to Rainbowbrite). May JoinUs rest peacefully in the world outside of dragon hell.
BONUS: A new semi-cult thread to Plague died instantly. Like, thanks guys. Imma keep the poem, though. Keep it alive~!
