When Emperors are spotted, the warriors of Sornieth are first on the scene. They pour all of their magic and physical strength into the battle, aiming to wear the Emperor down. They know the fight is futile. They only intend to slow down the beast's rampage long enough for their trusted deities to arrive and defeat the creature personally.

Of course, as with any battle with such ferocity, some of the warriors do not make it to the end. When this happens, the deities grant these dragons a second chance at life. But despite this, their memories of fighting in the war are hazy at best, with most only recalling a small amount of their horrific encounter.
