Nosoi

The Nosoi were the personified spirits (daimones)
of plague, sickness and disease. They were
numbered amongst the evil spirits which escaped
from Pandora's jar.

The Keres were also sometimes portrayed as
personifications of deadly disease. In most Homeric
literature, however, the arrows of Apollon and
Artemis were the bringers of plague and sickness
rather than bands of daimones.
