For most of her life, Cerise lived in a small village in Light Flight territory that was extremely superstitious about magic and those who wielded it. To the point that witch hunts were a common occurrence. When her own witch powers began to manifest, Cerise knew her life would be in danger of anyone found out, and so suppressed them as best she could.

Despite holding such a secret, she was well liked and trusted in the community. She was able to keep up the charade of normalcy until she found out that she was to become a mother. Knowing it was possible that her children would inherit her powers and not wanting then to grow up with the fear she felt every day, she arranged for the two eggs to be taken far away. Her heart ached at the thought of them not knowing her, but it was what she thought was best at the time.

Over the years, the guilt and sadness ate away at her until she could bear it no longer. She finally decided to leave the village behind, knowing that if she'd just been brave enough to all those years ago, she wouldn't be without her children now. After contacting various seers and scryers, she was able to track them to the Shrieking Wilds, an area known as the Tealeaf Court to be precise. She believes Lukas and Kyra of the Court to be her missing children, although she's found herself unable to speak to them. For now, she's content to watch over them from afar...
