HISTORY Baldr's father, a Serthis, was left behind by his tribe when he fell ill; a bite by a Noggle that refused to heal. He found solace in another lonely dragon, Hyacinth, and together they gave life to Baldr, bright-eyed and scaley. Not long after his hatching, Baldr's parents passed away, and he travelled Sornieth as a lonely ghost, neither dragon nor Serthis, dedicating himself to his studies in an effort to find a place to belong. At the cliffs of the Sunbeam Ruins, he found Skart, another oddity cast out by society at large, and together they plotted to create something much greater than themselves, an academy for fringe beings, a haven of beasts.

PERSONALITY Baldr is an awkward bookworm. His clumsiness with people is often interpreted as a lack of self-confidence, but this couldn't be further from the truth; he is exceedingly aware of his own abilities and the reach of his potential. Seeing him away from his books and scrolls is a rare sight, as he prefers to spend his days (and nights) buried in the knowledge there is, and fantasise about what yet is unknown.
