The Walking Disaster
A dragon passes by, adorned magnificently with roses and rose petals. His movements are stiff and regal, like a king parting the crowds. You pause and look closer.
There are thorns digging into his skin. There are thorns all over him. He is covered in thorns. The stiffness in his movements isn't on purpose. He is in agony. You can practically hear the internal shrieks going on in his head as he shambles uncomfortably past you. Oh my god someone help him. Insufferably vain. An absolute narcissist. Elwych doesn't watch where he is going because he is too busy looking at himself. One day he walked straight into a rose bush, and when he finally managed to rip himself out of the web of agony, heralded by a chaotic fanfare of trumpets and a chorus of angels laughing their rears off, he found himself covered in perfect thorn apparel. It was flawless. It looked magnificent on him. But there were thorns. And they were digging into his skin. And sweet dragon gods above he could get them off- but he looked magnificent. Dragons look at him pass by with concern. They shrink back in discomfort as they watch him clearly try to hold in his screams. Medics go to him thoroughly perturbed, asking if he needs help removing the thorns. But he denies them all. There is no problem. He meant for this to happen. HE TOTALLY MEANT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. |
