lightningvs1.png There are few mecha units in Argus' arsenal - the megalomaniac dislikes getting their hands dirty - but Rigel is one of the exceptions. Its circuitry and computer systems are esoteric bordering on the arcane, and though initially designed as an autonomous vehicle it cannot run without the aid of a living pilot. Argus dismisses this as simply "a quirk of the wiring", and refuses to answer any more pointed questions as to the peculiar nature of the mecha.

Despite its "quirks", there is no denying the brutal efficiency of the Rigel unit. Using sonar shields to deflect ranged attacks, it closes the distance with dizzying speed and unleashes brutal firepower upon its foes. Given its performance, the disappearance of the occasional maintenance crew sent into the deep vaults where it's stored is perhaps a small price to pay.
