(This lore is probably not fully finished. But have it anyway!)

Once upon a time there was a clan along the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. This clan was primarily made up of intellectually-minded types as well as those who were happy to just go along with whatever. In spite of this, they had little true ambition and sort of just collectively vibed.

One day, someone got the idea of building a vessel that could travel not just the seas, but also the furthest reaches not thought possible: the stars. With their combined efforts, the clan managed this in little time at all — relatively speaking — and so their ship was born.

Now they travel throughout Sornieth, accepting all kinds of passengers so long as they too have a desire to reach the heavens.

There is no true "leader" among the clan, with the longest-serving clan members working together to chart courses and settle any disputes that arise. But she, for her part, is in charge of handling incoming travelers, being a generally warm people person (as much as a Fae can be considered such by strangers). She has taken on the role of guide, showing newcomers how they may do their part to keep the ship going. After all, it takes a group effort, and just because someone happens to be a passenger certainly doesn't mean they're excused from helping.

Her love life, in her opinion, is hardly remarkable — unlike those of the various couples aboard the ship. She wouldn't consider herself strictly monoamorous; her partner neither cares nor expects her to be. But, following a years-long break when they were caught up in shipbuilding, she has only mated with him. Most of their children have felt called to a life of adventure beyond what they could experience on the ship, and so they have gone off in search of the Tidelord. But some have stayed longer, with one in particular following faithfully, never too far from home.
