Despite being the older sibling, Cyclone was always overshadowed by her little sister Hurricane. Her parents believed Hurricane blessed by the Windsinger due to the storms thrown from her eyes, and thus neglected Cyclone. Cyclone grew bitter towards her younger sister, and seeked to spite her. So she left the lair, making the choice to not return until she had risen above her little sister, and could rub her victory in the face of Hurricane and their parents...

Deep down, she is a scared, gentle dragon, though she desperately tries to hide it with a cold and hostile exterior. She has a severe inferiority complex from ages of neglect from her parents, under it all wishing for nothing more than to be loved. She is somewhat nervous about trying to form attachments, afraid that they will ignore her as soon as someone else comes along.
