Personality Garrett is a cynical and jaded loner who takes his profession of thievery very seriously. He is witty and meets many conversations with sarcastic remarks. Garrett does not keep many people close and has few friends, which he prefers. He is distrusting of strangers and treats them with distant behavior or outright hostility. Because of this, most people who do not personally know Garrett assume he is a sinister individual. Garrett as a thief is very against murder, even if it is justified, and uses it as a last resort, unlike his counterpart, Erin. Biography Due to unknown causes, both of Garrett's parents died, leaving him an orphan. The dragons that took care of him were extremely strict, leading him to escape. He lived out in the wild where his very survival was dependant on stealing. From a young age, Garrett honed his thieving abilities so he could swiftly relieve other dragons of their possessions. Eventually, Garrett moved into a clock tower that was previously inactive due to fatal construction incidents. He managed to fix the tower, and the ghost stories that followed kept him safe. Garrett used the clock tower as his hideout. Soon, his reputation as a thief increased, when he met Basso. The two became close professional friends and even closer personal friends as time progressed. Basso introduced Garrett to Erin, who would soon become his apprentice and later on, an adopted sister to Garrett. Garrett is known as many things, commonly the Master Thief, or to some, Child of the Shadows or the Rat King. He is either an incredibly well-respected thief or a thoroughly despised thief; it simply depends on what side of the thievery you are on. |
