Hatchlings born to The Stricken are trained in warfare and survival skills. Growing up seeing the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer worshiped side by side means they are surprisingly openminded to new ideas, but tend to be blasé about death and violence which can come across as callous to dragons from other flights.
Festival’s parents were a Fisher-woman and a Plague priest, Named for her father's love of celebrations the name has become increasingly ironic as she has grown older. She shares her father's deep religious convictions but lacks his love of parties. She takes after her stoic hardworking mother, but prefers scholarly pursuits over hunting and fishing.
