THEME

"My children, welcome to my Hell.."

She is a dictator of sorts and is rittled with PTSD of losing her ability to fly and pearl from a Fire Flight Ridgeback. She doesn't allow Ridgebacks into to clan and forbids anyone to breed, talk, or be around them.

She lost her wings and pearl due to failing a mission the Ridgeback sent her on. The mission being to assassinate multiple important figures in the Nature Flight to start a war between the flights for a generous reward. The Ridgeback found out she failed and stole her pearl to sell on the black market. When she retaliated she was beaten and fire from the ridgeback engulfed her wings and body.

"No!" The Pearlcatcher cried. "I won't let you! I have done nothing to warrant this!"

The Ridgeback only chuckled in response. "Oh dear.. You have done everything to warrant this! Besides, its only a mere pearl. Nothing special to me." The brute examined the special orb. "Though.. This will sell for thousands on the ash market.." His head lifted and turned away from the her pearl. "You failed, so you pay the price."

Cinnabar snarled. "You wouldn't dare sell it Jet! I will kill you if you even try--" Suddenly, Jet interrupted. "Considering you're state? I'd think not. I dare you to even try." Cinna leaped weakly in desperation, but was swiftly knocked aside. She fell inches away from a lava pit and the Ridgeback snickered. "I have an idea. Let us make sure you can't get home to tell your little friends about this." Suddenly the Pearlcatcher was lifted off the darkened dirt. "N-No!"

Terrible pain came from her wings from the boiling lava. The red lass screeched from her newly made wounds. Then everything went black.

Her jaws part in a gasp as her body gives a violent twitch, and she awakens. Cinnabar's eyes spring open like a spring loaded trap, darting from side to side before she scrambles out of her nest. Ah, yes, her nest. Right. This is where she fell asleep the night before, and this is where she has awoken. Her paranoid personality makes it hard for her to calm down, but anyone would be paranoid, she thinks, if only they had been through what she has been through. For it does not take long to see what is wrong with Cinnabar's appearance.

This Pearlcatcher has no wings, and no pearl. Both have been violently taken from her by the same dragon, the species of which she now refuses to associate with or allow her subjects to associate with either. Cinnabar is an iron-clawed Dictator of sorts, but really only when it comes to the Ridgeback issue. She could care less about who else her subjects choose to associate with, as long as they are not Ridgebacks. Even so, most of her subjects dare not cross her.

Cinnabar is a brutal creature. More dragons have died from her claws and jaws than almost any other dragon in the Clan, ever. She appears so dainty, so innocent, it is hard to imagine her sinking her teeth and claws into the flesh of another, and yet. Here she stands, having done just that over and over again. Having done just that so many times, her teeth are stained a pale pink from the blood. She's gone frenzied without her pearl, turning to anything she can to fill the void her pearl has left.

It's led to some rather unhealthy things, things she'd rather not speak about, not now and not ever.

Her emotions change rapidly. Sometimes she even bursts into tears without realizing why she's doing it. Of course, this only happens while she's alone, and never in the company of other dragons. She cannot afford to show weakness in front of the other dragons, lest they decide to tear her apart as she has done so many times before to her own people.

So instead of showing any weakness, instead of showing any sign that she is a dragon, a mortal dragon just like the rest of them, she keeps her mouth shut and turns her head away, turns her back on everything that makes a dragon a dragon.
She cannot afford to show weakness.
