A wise dragon once said that a book is more powerful than any claw or fire. Most dragons say they'll believe that when a book takes down a coarsefur yeti, but not Cecil. Cecil loves books, and he doesn't just read them- he writes them, too. He's developed a habit of writing everything that happens within the clan, and though others find it strange, he's become the go-to for settling disputes over who brought in the largest catch last month.
