Pyre

Pyre's egg was on a shipping vessel that ran aground on the rocky reef surrounding the ocean-side portion of the isle. The crew had to abandon it, and it was quickly explored and scavenged by the island residents the moment the owners were gone.

While more dragon than most, he still fits in well with the serpentine community. What makes him stand out is his incredible firepower and sharp wit. His eyes and breath can catch fire at his whim or during intense emotion, but for the most part he is pragmatic and good natured. He likes checking out books from the library, and has since inspected every inch of the island.

He occasionally ventures to the mainland, though always returning as he feels a sense of obligation to protect the island and it's residents. He brings items of interest and usefulness back with each journey, trying to have at least /something/ for everyone.

On one of those journeys, he returned with another of his kind, who is now his loving mate.


Fire smolders beneath his hide, spouts from every breath, flickers at every blink.
