History - Tucked away in the hatchery made just for this brood. A nest of the finest pillows and blankets is prepared for the hatchlings. Only the best for the first nest of the High Leader Neocalli and his second wife Radiant. The hatchlings are nestled in for the night. The peaceful sounds of quiet breathing are all that's heard. Their mother slips out once they are finally asleep, getting a small break from the youngsters. She will only be gone a few minutes, surely they will be safe here. It is their step mother who slips in not long after Radiant leaves. She can feel her disgust grow as she makes her way towards the sleeping hatchlings. It should have been her brood here. It should have been her to have this honor. If she cannot have it, neither can Radiant. She will make the dear second wife weep like Excidium had before. She snatches each one and hushes them with threats. They are but too young to go out in the world on their own and that is where she will take them. There they will suffer for crimes that they have not done. (Written by DeadWapiti) They had no memories prior to being tossed out, only remembering they was tossed into the Hewn City to be consumed by the shade that lingers there. All they knew was that they were instead welcomed by the shade, embracing it and learning to use it along with the Light they were born with. They were found by Paragon as a young child after accidentally stumbling upon it and threatened to kill it despite the huge odds stacked against them. They were instead adopted by Paragon as their child instead, being offered to become stronger by training with them. After leaving the Hewn City, they were put through gruelling training to become the perfect fighter, with their teacher being all of the heads of Paragon. After their training was finished, they became the sole confidant and the personal guard of Paragon, being trusted to be the leader of [clan name] when Paragon was away. The false gods that serve Paragon fear them, not knowing what they was truly capable of. |
