Kaminari

Kaminari watched as a storm brewed over the land. She had always dreamed about flying into a storm, but she knew she would likely get injured if she attempted such a feat. This is why she watched the storm from a distance.

Kaminari always invited her friend from the Lightning flight, Mezri, to watch the storms with her. Mezri had shown an interest in helping Kaminari study storms, causing her to become Kaminari's closest friend.

"This storm seems tame." Kaminari mentioned. "Do you think this one would be safe to enter?"

"It might be safe, although the energy seems to be unstable." Mezri replied.

"I suppose. However I believe I should enter it, just this once." Kaminari determined.

Before Mezri could stop her, Kaminari spread her wings and flew into the storm. The experience was amazing, lightning spread across clouds, all while water fell towards the ground. The storm was calm enough to allow Kaminari to do this without injuring herself.

Things soon changed, however, as the storm grew stronger quickly. Kaminari believed this to be the doing of a lightning dragon, but wasn't sure who would try to do this to her. She decided it would be best to attempt to leave the storm. She quickly looked around, looking for the safest exit. Once she determined the path she deemed the safest, she took off.

Lightning began hitting Kaminari, but somehow, this didn't stop her. She kept flying, grunting in pain each time she was hit. The rainfall became heavier, causing her wings to feel heavy as well. Eventually Kaminari was too tired to continue flying, she fell to the ground.

When she woke up, she was back at home. Mezri had left to get the clan when Kaminari flew into the storm, and ended up saving her life. The lightning stayed in Kaminari's body, occasionally escaping. Kaminari no longer has an interest in studying storms, but instead, the lightning that lives within her.
