Uh-oh, looks like this little germ wyrm wandered a little too far from his lair (65196, Vulcanchicks), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Originally from the Wandering Contagion, little Grub got his name from his tendency to slurp up bugs when his parents aren't looking. Not that they really provide any extra nutrients. He just thinks they taste nice. Back home, he had a bit of a fling with Vira, one of the newcomers to the lair, but both parties have amicably decided to move on.

First destination
Grub quickly made his way to a clan in the Frigid Floes. He met many different dragons of all shapes and sizes. The weather was very cold unlike the Wandering Contagion. To keep himself warm he wore a warm scarf.

Second destination
He next made his way to the Reedcleft Ascent, where he met a ragtag Wind clan patched up of dragons from every known Flight. At the insistence of a tiny fae in huge goggles, he donned the local dragons' favored apparel: birdskulls! A friendly chimera stayed by his side throughout his visit, and might have followed him to his next destination had a disapproving pearlcatcher not held it back.

Third destination
Grub spent his time in the Mirrorlight Promenade with a sleepy Light clan filled with dragons from almost every Flight. He spent most of his time training with two Wildclaw warriors the clan had. After a close call with a gyre, he decided it was time to move on.

Fourth destination
He headed to the Fishspine Reef, where he stayed with a Water Clan for a few weeks. There, he celebrated the Thundercracke Carnivale. He waited for the holiday rush to die down before he decided to head back home for a while. It had been a long time, and who knows? Maybe Vira will be there.

Fifth destination (home again!)
Grub returned home to find that to his great surprise, his clan had moved! After asking around, he learned that they had relocated to a larger lair in the Abiding Boneyard. He was greeted warmly by his parents. When he inquired about Vira, his mother said that his companion had been called to the Plaguebringer's service only hours after his departure. He accepted the news with pride, knowing that in going to the Mother she had been given the greatest honor a dragon could have, though it hurt him to know they might never meet again. The sadness weighed heavily on his heart, and he found himself unable to stay.

Sixth Destination:
He headed to the IceQueen's lair where he enjoyed him time playing with all the little ones and even battling it out in the Coliseum. He helped trained some of the younger ones, but now the icy fortress was a bit too much for him. He paid his respects to the IceQueen and moved on out heading to find a new home and adventure.

Seventh Destination:
His new placed was quite an interesting one! Here Grub was in a Nature clan-one with a few fellow plague flight members in it as well! Almost all the dragons were quite friendly towards him (except a head-ache ridden guardian named Impulse, but the others said he's always like that.) He spent a couple days there-learned some history from Azurite, chatted with the other mirrors, and had a feast on bugs that were plentiful there! However, Grub didn't like the thick forage and the pollen everywhere. So off he was once more!

Eigth Destination
So long did Grub stay in a lair of Shadows he nearly forgot he had not hatched there.
