Gloatls - An unofficial subspecies at first, but has becomes an official subspecies thought up by Zashara for her own personal use in her lair. This subspecies came about when the dragon called Lanying was obtained followed by Mingyu. That was when the idea for the Nocturnal subspecies Gloatls was born.

They are normally seen at night and can be a bit cautious. Their Tertiary Color glows while their Primary and Secondary Colors tend to hide them in the darkness. This subspecies tend to be XXY, but may vary and can be from any Flight. Their Genes are always Iridescent, Shimmer and Thylacine or Runes. The Primary and Secondary Colors range from Oilslick to Shadow, leaving the Tertiary Color to be anything other then Charcoal to Shadow. But, the brighter the better!

These coatls like anything having to deal with night, including their favorite Holiday, Night of the Nocturne. They absolutely love anything that glows. If it does not they tend to find it boring and not very exciting. Their favorite foods are the Glow Star and the Glowslug.
