3677.png 		THE PARHELION INSTITUTE (located on Need-To-Know Basis, Sunbeam Ruins) has a reputation for being a haven for Light's most reactionary, most militaristic elements. There, students and teachers of acceptable mettle and dedication can learn the martial arts free from the pressure of civility and the prying eyes of society.

The Parhelion Institute was too laid back for Donnager. By her own admission, she only stayed on as long as she did for the cushy tenure options. When Seraphi sent a recruiter in to look for governess candidates, Donnager was among the first to step forward. It turned out they had similar tastes where warfare and education were concerned, and Donnager was hired on as the governess of House Abrasax not long after.

The Scandal didn't particularly faze Donnager, truth be told. She laid low a while, waiting for the family to settle back down again (as she knew they would), and then she picked up her duties roughly where she'd left off: training children born to House Abrasax in the finer points of combat both magical and mundane and which way the toast is supposed to go around the table when hosting a fancy dinner party.

Seraphi occasionally jokes that she and Donnager are sisters differentiated only by element. To be sure, Donnager seems to have roughly the same proportion of grace and icewater in her veins as Seraphi. It's probably no surprise, then, that Donnager ranks number two for most feared in the family. 		xxxxxxxxxx

IMPRESSIONS
The swish of silk and the glitter of gold plate are distractions: beneath all that lies hard, unyielding muscle and bone. She is always in command, wherever she is, and she has a way of inspiring a fearful confidence in her pupils -- fearful, in the way one is fearful of a god. Her voice is the slow molten crawl of lava down a mountain: arresting, inexorable, and terrifying in the way things you can only get on the wrong side of once typically are.
RELATIONSHIPS
BALEM was her first ward in this family. Donnager spent most of her time trying to corral Balem's latent Mind alignment and either batten it down or eradicate it completely -- and, as far as anyone else is concerned, she succeeded. The side-effect, however, is that Balem fears Donnager more than even Seraphi.
SERAPHI was known to the Parhelion Institute even before she came calling for candidates. Donnager knows a little of Seraphi's history before Sornieth, or at least enough of the pertinent details to feel real respect for her. It helps too that Seraphi prefers not to meddle in Donnager's teaching methods and signs her checks.
ENON is Corrupted? Well, of course she is. The Institute had its fair share of Shade-touched and Corrupteds for Donnager to train on;
she doesn't find them nearly as scary as Balem some might. Donnager trusts Seraphi to know what she's doing -- and, if that fails, Donnager knows she'll be able to rise to the occasion personally.
