Maretta

It starts small. A star here and there, disappearing from the sky. Soon, entire planets are left as dead husks, entire galaxies swallowed whole by some malicious entity. No one can find it, only able to track the being's movements by the wake of destruction it leaves in it's path. A hunt is staged for this world eater, and then - it disappears.

And a new dragon shows up at the doorstep of the clan, begging for a place among them.

Maretta was a stranger to the clan, having followed after Yaara and Eskame, though she claimed to not know either dragon. She only asked for a den far from the others and to not be disturbed unless it was important. She didn't deem much as "important" unless her own life were to be threatened.

She picked fights with Asteri and often aimed to make his life as bad as she dared to, as Winterbreath kept an annoyingly close eye on her - although a little flu blown his way put a stop to his watching of her. Unfortunately, this got Mari and Mei to pester her, and she couldn't harm the clan leader's daughters without being thrown out, could she?

She'd just have to sneak off and do her eating in the cover of absolute darkness....





The only one who knows what and who Maretta is refuses to have anything to do with her, as Charin quite likes it where he is and doesn't need some world devourer to ruin what he has.

Others suspect her of not being who she claims to be, though they too mind their business and look the other way. Well, except for Incanter, who bugs her as much as the tundra can.
