“Flash! CRACKLE! SIZZLE!!”

A murky, obsidian guardian shifts amongst her nest of broken bones and eggs, her iridescent scales shimmering in the sickly daylight. The plaguelands had an odd, chilling beauty about it; from the fleshy tendrils laced across the ground, to the corpses of fallen of dragons. It was eeriely serene. That is, until a cry pierced the atmosphere like a jagged knife:

"HUEHUEHUEJAHAHAHJUEHUEHAH"

A streak of pink and goodness-knows-what rocketed by, leaving a flash of glittering particles in her wake. The spiral's laughter pierced the guardian's ailing ears. Not again.

"Squea--"

"I HAS FIREWORKS FOR YOU OK I MAKE BIG BANG"

As promised-- BANG.
