Biography

Rotting Plaguebringer Effigy Sharpened Scythe Delightful Wooden Unicorn Plague Runestone Broken Wing Bones Bone Fragments All-Seeing Shroom

V I D A

Vida is a very morbid hatchling, fascinated with death and the macabre. Never smiling, never laughing. She scrawls dark, gory drawings on the papers littered around her room and keeps decapitated dolls and figures on her shelves. Particularly of the dieties. However, the Plaguebringer statues seem to be excluded from this practice.

Although a hatchling, she displays sadistic tendancies and is desceptively strong, as she gets into fights with adult dragons and wins, despite every odd being against her, and some report seeing her snapping the bones of small animals, just to watch them limp around before devouring them.

But, never once would she stop to question the morals of her actions. It's all a game to her. A sick, cruel game with an equally as sick, cruel child.

Her father, of course, seeks to find what he calls the ultimate cure; absolute immortality. Using his own brood as test dummies for the 'cure' he had almost succeeded with her. Almost. She is immortal now, however she is trapped in a hatchling's body for eternity, unable to die and unable to grow up, she is often taken to be stupid by most. A very fatal mistake, indeed.

She will appear to you as a small, wounded hatchling, lost and alone, wandering through the wastelands. Such an individual makes an easy meal for any predator or desperate, hungry dragon happening upon her. Wounded, easy to catch. Alone, no protection or angry parents to go through. Perfect! What more would you want?

If cannibalism isn't your thing, and you aren't a hungry predator, then maybe you sympathize with her and follow her to try to help her.

Whatever you do, suddenly you will find that you are the meal, and you are the one who will need sympathy.

But, if you took the route of killing her and managed to do so, you will find that she will always come back, one way or another. Whether this is by crawling back up the filthy gullet that swallowed her or being rebirthed by crawling out of her father's cauldron, she will come back, and perhaps you will end up immortalized, too, as one of those headless dolls on her shelf.
