Hunter is the second child born to Rougeheart and Stormveil. He was born just moments before Springfall and considers him to be his best friend.

Hunter is not only the middle child of his siblings, but he's also the only boy. Because of this, Hunter is fiercely determined to be heard over his sisters. He is very much like his father (probably the reason they fight so much) and he is close to his mother. Although he often sports quite an attitude, this is only because (like his father) he finds it very difficult to express his feelings.

Hunter's mate is Sunrise. For the longest time, Hunter had strong, romantic feelings for Sunrise, but couldn't work up the nerve to tell her. Springfall finally convinced him to tell her, and the rest is history. Now the two have three guardian children. Hunter is pleased that they didn't have any Pearlcatchers, because he's "got enough of them in his life."
