 A B O U T
Fenshi is the clan's medic that specializes in herbs and infusions, but can also heal with magic. She instinctively understands where and what hurts the patient, by virtue of being a Light aligned dragon. Her character is cheerful and kind, and her voice is gentle. Fenshi is an optimist and always tries to see the best in things, even when the situation seems grim. Her sunny attitude brings hope to the hearts of sick dragons. The clan members note that she is unusually calm for a Spiral dragon - in truth, it's all thanks to natural sedatives, such as tea and scented candles. But keeping your mind clear is still a big part of it! A healer must always be focused and collected, both in work and in study. Her home is an apothecary garden that is located on the edge of the clan's territory, bordering the Starwood strand. The gate is always open, and clan members can enter whenever they please to roam around or come into the house for a cup of tea. Part of it is a community garden; Mane is particularly interested in it and visits fairly regularly. For her, it doubles as a hobby and a means to keep an eye on the Spiral. Fenshi came to the Starwood Strand for the purpose of research, to collect and study the rare plants that have sprouted there under the influence of the Arcanist’s magic. The Starwood Pristrandische clan offered her a temporary home in exchange for healer services. The clan members quickly warmed up to her, and the (still very young at that time) mirror sisters practically begged her to stay and become a permanent clan member. Having witnessed the daily struggle of a ragtag family of dragons trying to make ends meet, Fenshi agreed without hesitation. She couldn't bear the thought of the two girls suffering for the sake of their loved ones and vowed to take care of them. Growing up, the mirror sisters often came to Fenshi for advice or to play in her garden. And, of course, to treat their combat training wounds... Having grown up around her, they treat her like part of the family and call her "Auntie" even though they are not related. The biological mother of the twins - the matriarch of the clan - is somewhat disapproving of this bond, but does not explicitly object to it. The tention between the two mother figures is rooted in Mane's fear of losing control and their indirect competition, as both are the clan's healers. |

It's useful for a researcher to always have their field notes on hand. Magical plants should be handled with care and touched as little as possible, as Arcane magic is very volatile in nature. |

R E L A T I O N S H I P S

Her reputation in the clan is overwhelmingly positive. The herbalist was one of the first dragons to join the clan, and as such, she has given other latecomers a warm welcome over the years. Fenshi is a single middle aged adult, though she rarely ever felt lonely - not when there is so much life blossoming around her, figuratively and literally speaking. |

She cares for them as if they were her own children. When Fenshi was growing up, the situation in her home clan was not the best. Seeing them struggle at such a young age touched her deeply. The Mirror sisters consider Fenshi their found family. In a way, they trust her more than their own mother. Tripp is especially fond of the Spiral. |

For a dragon who is sensitive to the feelings of others, it would be hard not to notice the contempt emanating from the matriarch. Fenshi bears no ill will towards the Tundra, while Mane keeps a close eye on her. |
 Chroma | The sight of his terrible scars leaves Fenshi silent and pensive. No magic can treat them, nor would he ever let her. Chroma has deeply seated distrust towards healers (or "stitchers", as he calls them) though he apparently has no idea what that profession actually entails. This demeanor can be chalked up to negative past experiences. |
 Clover | Her knowledge of local plants and flowers has been immensely helpful for the Spiral's research. Fenshi is one of the few dragons who respect the tiny Fae and value her input. The two dragons can often be seen together out in the forest. The scout leads the way to secret locations only she knows of. |
 Sylvia | They have met before Sylvia left the clan for good. Shortly before her departure, she promised Fenshi that from now on the Spiral's life would be peaceful and happy. Since then, they have never seen each other in the Starwood Strand. Although sometimes, it seems like the shaman is standing somewhere close, hidden by the foliage, smiling silently. |
