The quiet, level-headed half of a pair of construct dragons. Originally made as specialized units tasked on locating and destroying a dangerous artifact, these two were grievously injured on their first journey. After ten years of inactivity induced from this trauma, they eventually reactivated and finished their mission, and afterwards sought new horizons. Nowadays, they serve as explorers for hire, particularly talented at mapping and clearing out caverns, but they eagerly accept any challenge. Quote is a stark opposite to his partner: he prefers actions to words, and tends to be fairly cautious, often determining a plan before charging head-on into a situation. His moral compass is incredibly strong, and he finds it difficult to abandon anyone in need, however small their problems or however irrelevant they might be to him. This can make him easily sidetracked, or get him easily into trouble, but with an incredibly strong will and difficulty giving up on anything, he can prove quite a fight for any problems that come his way. Despite his silence, he makes his personality quite clear! |

Compared to Curly, he's built lighter and quicker than most Fae, being primarily made for agility and reconnaissance. Helping to make him still quite fearsome is a miniature lightning gun built into his jaw, heating up bolts of electricity that can be rapidly fired or unleashed in a beam, as well as a booster on his hind legs that releases bursts of compressed energy to easily direct his movements. The hat and scarf are just for fashion's sake. When not out on adventure or commissioned jobs, Quote is surprisingly low-strung. Rarely sighted away from his partner, he almost never speaks to others, instead just letting his frills convey mood and reactions. It seems that after finishing his original job, he struggles to find purpose outside of scouting work: despite his kind attitude, socializing is exhausting for him. Still, he's quite content to watch the scenery, and never turns down a chance to help those in need. |
