Biography

The Rotten Leader
They say as an egg she was fathered by Giovanni, tossed into the Wyrmwound in his quest to find the perfect cure. To grant immortality and indestructability to those who were worthy. Incubated in literal liquid disease, she absorbed copious amounts of the Plaguebringer's terrifying energy, all the while listening dormantly to the Mother's every rotten word, engraining Her wills and wishes into her brain, so that when she rose from the sickly depths, she knew exatly what to do.
She was the first of her many, many siblings to survive this ordeal; and the only one he needed to. However, as she had begun to swim to the top, another of the eggs started to shake and crack, soon spewing forth another hatchling.
She would not tolerate this. SHE was the one meant to be the Plaguebringer's ambassador, not her brother.
And so, in the deepest, darkest depths of the Wyrmwound she fought with her brother among the dozens of their siblings, now petrified and worthless within their own eggshells. No sight. No smell. No sound. No experience. With only their natural instinct to survive guiding them, she and her brother tumbled in a ball of teeth, claws and blood. He fought hard but in the end she fought harder. She tore her brother apart, leaving his body there to rot at the bottom of the Wyrmwound with the rest of their unworthy siblings.
She crawled from the putrid pool, shaking, heaving, covered in contagion, egg yolk, and blood. Only now could she be seen in all of her bloody glory.
She was born with yellowed skin as thin and as fragile as a single sheet of sopping wet paper. Her veins could be seen through it. Pulsing and grotesque. Every step hurt, every movement grew more painful. But she knew what she must do. She would wander the wastelands, destroying those who would oppose her and spilling their blood in the name of the Plaguebringer, only allowing those who match her skill to join her.
Of course, this is just a story. One thought up by her clan, at that. They could be a bunch of filthy liars. Or, they could be telling the truth. Whichever it is, Jaundice certainly isn't saying, but either way, I wouldn't doubt it, as it seems the fierce leader has evaded death far longer than what should be possible.
