The lair keeper

Dāma was born in a light lair with many other imperials, but was glad enough to leave. When she realised her new mate was also an imp she was a little uneasy, but they get on very well and Dāma liked to ride around on Skogur's wide shoulders when she was not yet fully grown. Dāma has only ever admitted to Skogur that she is glad to be outside the Light Domain, but as a front she maintains a fierce pride in the Lighweaver and insists imperials are loved by her the same as the pearlcatchers. Luckily there aren't many pearlcatchers in the clan. Although talking of the Imperials death rites and the ever present threat of emperors is a taboo outside of imperial circles, Dāma spends a lot of her time researching it. Secretly, she can feel the way her bones ache when she strays too near to the Light Domain and fears Skogur will outlive her by a long way.

Day to day, Dama helps Skogur maintain the lair, cleaning, fixing their sparse furniture, helping him with the structures and insulated caves at the back for the dragons that get the coldest.
