huolong is a serious, fearsome dragon who treats seemingly trivial matters with importance. he values peace and order within his clan and possesses the traits of an exceptional leader, directing hunting parties and making tactical decisions in battle. in the midst of strangers, he doesn't bother with greetings or formalities due to his mistrust of them, and is rather cold.
his childhood was stolen from him by his own kin, raised on the war-torn border of infected wastelands and endless forests. after being enlisted as a warrior as a young hatchling against his will, he was forced to use biological warfare against the enemy. he spent every day physically and emotionally sickened, but has since developed a formidable immunity to most things. one day in battle, he got so injured that he dragged his exhausted, bloody body to hide inside a rotting log to avoid being killed, passing out from the pain. when he awoke, a mirror dragon had been tending to his wounds and putting together a basket for him, full of food and supplies. from that day onwards, he considered that dragon - minerva - to be one of the only creatures he could ever trust. since that fateful moment when minerva took him in, huolong has dedicated his time to repenting for his atrocities by bettering himself and others, after coming to his senses about the war and the things that his brood forced him to do. he had also realized how much his plague clan had brainwashed him with hatred for the nature flight. he swears never to repeat his shameful history. |
