"Hello!" You froze mid step. You could feel something crawling up your back... Slithering up your back. You turned your head to see a spiral staring into your eyes. "You're new here! Which means... you're probably looking for love." You shook your head frantically. You might have been looking for love or you might not have been but nevertheless you weren't about to share your intentions with this stranger. "No? Perhaps not with a being, but perhaps an object? A hobby?"
The spiral removed herself from you and stood in front of you to stare directly at you. "Everyone has to have something they're passionate about! Isn't there anything that you love in this world? Rain? Warmth?" The spiral squinted at you. "Are you like those other two newcomers that like skin?" She shrugged and held a hand out to you. "Not like I'm judging you on whatever it is that you're passionate about. Passion is great! I'm Eros! People around here might tell you that I stick my nose where I shouldn't but know that my heart is in the right place. I want to help people find the things that they love in this world." She jumped up from the ground and held her arms out as if there was a big spectacle happening.
"I am a matchmaker! Mostly because I couldn't think of a different word for what I do... but nevertheless if you find yourself wanting to find what you're passionate about come find me! It'd be a total shame if you went your entire life without ever finding your passion... don't you agree?" The spiral turned to stare at you with an almost terrifying toothy smile. You noted her proposition. Perhaps you would find her again if you did want to find your passion in life but right now all you wanted to do was get away from that smile of hers.
