Born to the dancer Tobira and the musician Yume, it is expected for their children to follow in their footsteps - or dance steps, if they lean more towards their mother's side. They are entertainers, performers, dragons who seek out the spotlight. But though he doesn't quite mind attention, Cyan's calling lies off the stage.

Considering himself to have few true talents, Cyan quickly took on a supporting role among his family of performers. He could not become the greatness that they were - but he could certainly become what was behind it. And while those who sung and danced got anything they wanted, everything they needed, the musicians were already seen as something for the dancers to support their own act with. Who'd help them?

His father, Yume, was a musician too, though he never had a single instrument made. No, he created them from nothing but raw magic - temporarily summoned objects that, with little to no fine-tuning, produced the most wonderful sounds. If that was what magic did to itself, could it work on something that already existed, too?

Though the saturation of his own family's performers prevented any real growth, be it personal or in his now-budding business, the initial experiment's success led Cyan out into the world. He now travels from clan to clan, offering to add a little magical touch to what instruments they possess, and if his customers are to be believed, it works just as well as what his father once taught him.
