Description:
Every book on their shelf is carefully placed, alphabetical labels ensuring none slip through the cracks. Papers stacked on their desk each sit in specific trays, meteorite paper weights decorating the delicate towers. Even with an action as thoughtless as scratching their chin, each twitch and stroke of their claw seems incredibly calculated. Narrowed eyes scrutinize the paper before they carefully dip their fountain pen in deep crimson ink, and mark a grade on the paper.

When the student receives their paper, they smile as wide as the red smiley-face Korum's drawn at the top of the perfect spelling test.

Korum's always wanted to work with hatchlings. They admire the youths' unbridled creativity, and couldn't imagine where they'd be without the instructors which shaped their formative years. Never once have they regretted becoming a teacher, even when friends and acquaintances challenge them with questions about crying or injuries or- Arcanist forbid!- throw up.

"All factors of development," Korum gently insists with a smile.

Some have even gone so far as to imply that Korum, with all their methodical living and knowledge, is 'wasting' their potential by working with such young hatchlings. Korum has never been one to scoff, but such ideas have certainly gotten them close. Anyone who thinks Korum's 'wasting' anything have certainly never seen hatchlings work together and cheer for each other, or rush outside to play, or announce, giggling, how proud they are of their newest piece of artwork. And Korum knows for a fact that naysayers have never had a former student approach them, eyes bright, and thank them for all the lessons and encouragement their class brought. Maybe if the naysayers had experienced all that, they wouldn't need a teacher for hatchlings to teach them to follow the "Golden Rule."
