Biography
(My first primal-eyed hatchling from my own nests! He turned out so pretty!)
tldr: Frost is the shy, mute Prince of the clan, the adopted son of Siel and Win. He's got a high rank, is good at magic, and a crush on the Royal Palace's top assistant, Legion.
Frost is the clan matriarch's (Win) apprentice and only adopted son. He was a meek and sickly hatchling who's own parents thought very little of when he was hatched. He was rejected from the nest after hatching due to the belief that he would not survive his first week.
The Matriarch believed that Frost was destined for something great, and decided to take a chance on him. She adopted Frost, and began teaching him all her life lessons in preparation for him to become her successor. As it turns out, with just a little nurturing and patience (and an unending supply of mom and dad's love), Frost is a talented magic wielder and a fast learner. Win and Siel are very proud of their
-Frost has a fierce stutter that renders him mostly mute. He uses magically enchanted runes or telepathy to communicate instead. He is a bit shy to meeting new dragons, but he is patient and forgiving like his mother.
-Despite his high position in the clan, and popularity among the Sovereign, Frost is a very nervous and introverted dragon, preferring to spend his free time in the company of his family, his familiars (he has a great number birds), and his magical studies.
-His job title is Deputy of Magicks, he works in developing all manner of magical solutions to various problems within the clan. (Things including barrier spells to contain livestock or clan borders, health potions for on-duty soldiers, crop protection/blessing talismans, etc.) Most of Frost's work is in large magical projects that affect clan stability, but he also takes on minor projects and commissions from Sovereign's commoners. (His favorite is developing silly illusion spells for hatchlings learning to use their own magic.)
-He is often addressed by his fellow clan members as the His Highness, The Prince of the Sovereign, as he technically the only child produced under any of the members of the ruling body. This flusters Frost immensely, and he is always politely refuting the title in favor of just being called his name. Much to his dismay, no one seems to be acknowledging this request, not even The Ascended Four.
Frost suspects that his parents and his aunt Beastette and uncle Antoine only use the royalty title to lovingly tease him, because they are amused by how much it startles the young dragon. In The Four's collective eyes, he is more than deserving of such a title, but they don't actually enforce it.
-Frost has a poorly disguised crush on Legion, one of the clan's top royal assistants. He hasn't worked up the courage to confess to her for fear of rejection and embarrassing himself, but little does he know that his feelings are returned. ^///^
