Evelyn has always been different from those around her. While others talked and played, she sat and watched. She never spoke, not once. She did not wish to. Others would not listen. She didn't want them to listen. She she grew up in the background, slowly, but surely, being forgotten.

But then she started staying awake at night, gazing up and the sky. Her whole life she had been lonely, but the stars made her feel as though she was a small hatchling again. The spoke to her, and she spoke back. They told her of far of lands, of the wind in the grass and the feel of freshly fallen snow. She grew restless.

And so one night, she packed her few possession, and left. She would not be missed. She was of to see the world.
