Oriana
The spirit of evil
♪ THEME ♫
I like nobody
Rattlesnake

Argana and Oriana together make the Omen of Deceit, their very existence as a duo when most aspects only consist of one being a testament to the aspect's duplicity. The beings often use this fact to their advantage against the few who actually know of Omens. Usually one will masquerade as their aspect's opposite, Truth, in order to further prey on their victim. Unlike many of the Omens, the Omen of Deceit does not wander aimlessly and only passively affect the land. Deceit hunts, and in the form of Argana and Oriana, it likes to hunt for magic and magical beasts. Thus the Omen is often considered the bane of any House of Witches. Witches that make wards against evil often depict them.

Deceit has taken many forms over the years, but Argana and Oriana usually take feminine forms, their favorite being the graceful lines of a Skydancer. They both prefer feminine pronouns when addressed.

The last written recording of their whereabouts detailed them as masquerading in the form of two evil spirits. Apparently they've taken the act so far as to make up some sort of summoning ritual when they can in fact appear and disappear at will without any special requirements. Based on how the recording abruptly ends, it seems the writer of the scroll did try the summoning, and either did not survive it or died shortly after.
