Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

Erzulie began looking around the tavern when she could hear a faint sound; the sound of crashing waves. In a tavern? It was strange, yes.
Suddenly, a majestic and beautiful dragon sat down next to her. He seemed to have an aura about him, a certain calmness almost.
"Good evenin'. You're quite the dragon, I reckon. Any idea why I can hear waves? Last time I checked I wasn't dreamin'. I'm still in a tavern, right?" Erzulie started a conversation with the skydancer.
"You're not dreaming." he said with a soothing voice.
"Haha, good. I like yer wings, and is that opal?" she examined him more closely, focusing her eyes in on the gorgeous colours that showed on his skin.
Her eyes widened when she realized.
"You're not a normal dragon, are ya? You're.. a sea creature? That's why I be hearin' the waves! What be your name?"
The dragon replied in a buttery, smooth voice.
"Manannan."
"My god. That's a nice name, although it can't be easy to spell. I can't even read and I know that be a name with many n's." Erzulie chuckled to herself.
"Anyways, nice to meet ya, Manannan. See ya around on the high seas?"

Personal notes: Manannan is god of the seas by the Sunbeam Ruins, old as Sornieth itself. His calm and just temperament conceals the true extent of his power. He treasures craft, stories, and songs, and often features in local legends helping adventurers on their quests.
Quote:
Working background: They say the seas by the Sunbeam Ruins are the calmest in all of Sornieth. Local legends tell of the ocean’s ruler, the calm and benevolent Manannan. He is memorialised for providing help and guidance to heroes and as a lover of craft, song, and story. Though there have been no reported appearances in decades, he is said to bless weary travelers and wayward poets. It is rumoured that if you offer him a work of your own hands and heart, or a story of realms beyond his dwelling, he will appear to you out on the open sea and offer you a boon for your travels.

Manannan once disguised himself and enrolled in a water mage school for the fun of it. He was careful to barely pass his exams, toning down his power such that nothing was expected of him. However, once his final test came by, he blasted his fellow students out of the water. Manannan put even the oldest professors to shame with his encyclopedic knowledge and sheer magical power. Once all was said and done, Manannan quietly declined to attend another semester and vanished to parts unknown. Though all this happened quite a long time ago, students and faculty alike still murmur about the strange skydancer to this day.
