Silvera had always loved nighttime, there was just something so serene and graceful about the moon and stars against the blanket of dark sky. Every night she would look up at the sky, a small, content smile upon her large jaws. No power could ever persuade her to hate the night, not even her deity the Shadowbinder. She was alone at first with a male that had only breeding interests in her at first, however she eventually chased him away and started gathering dragons that had no home and nowhere else to go. Among these many she met her mate Shadowstrike, a dark Fae male with piercing uncommon plague eyes. At first she avoided any and all romantic interests with anyone, but he determinedly slithered his way into her heart. She found in him an even greater love than she had for the night and she was ecstatic to hear he loved the moon and stars just like her. Together they are the Alpha pair of their Lair, which they have dubbed Shadow Vale. It is not uncommon to find the two curled up together under the stars, chatting about various things and grooming each other’s scales.

Like typical Guardian dragons, Silvera is mainly solitary and prefers to spend most of her time alone in her section of the lair where her mate has spun his roost. Most would find it odd to see such a large female Guardian and a small Fae male together as a mated pair but somehow the two make it work. Maybe it helps that Shadowstrike is large for a Fae dragon. Either way even their opposite behavioural patterns seem to attract one another. While Shadowstrike has others Faes within Shadow Vale to interact with, he gets most of the socialization he needs from his mate. Silvera is all too happy to be around him when her need to socialize is at its peak and he is one of the few she’ll allow into her den, which is carved beautifully, decorated with intricate lines carved into the stone and crystals set about in various areas.

She was never one for wearing apparel but the Ash Lace, a gift from her mate, she treasures. It fits her perfectly, both in body and personality. It is beautiful and lightweight, hardly hindering her movement. Functional and fashionable. For her lifespan she will remain the Lead female of her lair until the time comes for her to step down. However until that time she will lead her charges side by side her mate with pride and wisdom.
