Minerva
Lair Guard

Born in the Hewn City, but raised in the Starfall Isles, Minerva is the hatchling born out of wedlock to Ahumar and Artemis. She came with her mother,leaving her siblings behind. It was no their choice, but it was her or one of the others. Being the bravest of the three, Minerva let herself go. She experienced a great heartache when she said goodbye to her father and siblings, but Artemis continued to tell her that it was the only way both clans would forgive them for what they did. Minerva still has no idea what that ment, but she saw the opportunity as a chance for a new adventure.

Since she arrived, Minerva has heard dragons whisper about her and her mother. Many dragons won't make eye contact with her, let alone defend her when the other hatchlings were bullying her. The only dragon who would try to stand up for her was a Pearlcatcher named Silver. As shy as he is, he is Minerva's closest friend. After her left on his own adventures, they promised each other they would stay in contact.

She lives with her adopted father, Hypnos, and her mother, Artemis. As often as Artemis is gone, when she is home Minerva is always at her side, learning of her mothers adventures. They often communicate with Ahumar, Fortuna, and Virtus back in the Hewn City., sending letters and occasionally gifts. When she isn't with Artemis, she can be found taking naps alongside Hypnos, spending time with with Silver, or sometimes shadowing her older half-sister, Belladonna.

She is brave and curious like her mother, but has the heart of gold like her father (thankfully, she didn't inherit his drinking problem). She loves to read if no one will pay attention to her, particularly stories about mythology and the dieties. She hoped to follow in her parents footsteps, and become a combat trainer, but has since found her place apprienticing under Kiri to be a Lair Guard, protecting her clan from any threats that may come their way. Her familiar is Kodak, a Mistyhollow Agent who is as much treated as an outcast as Minerva herself is. He tries to taint her mind with lies and false omens, but she doesn't listen to him. She does, however, create her own false omens back, and this creates a weird friendly rivalry between the two. Her mate is Wye, a Nocturne she met while traveling back from the Hewn City.
