Starlight joined the clan as a result of young Sunrise and Terra's unrestricted first trip to the auction house. The two sisters were caught up in their excitement of being able to spend clan treasure, that they quickly lost track of how much they were spending. After stumbling across little Starlight sitting alone in the auction house, the two immediately wanted to give her a home to call her own. Sure, the two got a minor chewing-out by their parents for spending so much money, but everyone agreed that it was worth it for Starlight, Helena and Soul.

Starlight is an excellent hunter and fighter, and she works very hard to "earn her keep." Starlight feels indebted to Sunrise and Terra for giving her a home, and she loves Rune and Duskfall like parents. She also considers Steelwave to be her best friend. Starlight is a dragon of few words, preferring to let her actions speak for her character, rather than her words.

Starlight is the mate of Solstice, who actually lives in Lara's clan. They love each other despite living in different clans, and together they have three sons and two daughters. Their sons Ember and Eclipse, and their daughter Astra live with her, but their oldest son, Ash, and youngest daughter, Autumn live with their father in Lara's clan. They still get to see each other quite often though. Nothing makes Starlight happier than the smiling faces of her children.
