Ace is awkward around other dragons, brushing others off to hide her mediocre social skills. For this reason, she usually comes off as cold and uncaring, and Ace sometimes wonders if they're right. Not entirely sure how to act around other dragons, Ace typically works alone to be free of their judgment.

When Ace first arrived at the Clan of Falling Ashes, she was nervous and wary, being a water dragon in the heart of the Ashfall Wastes. She anticipated trouble with her clanmates, and spent her time training by herself in preparation for fights that could break out. It was difficult and lonely, but she kept at it. By the time she reached adulthood, Ace was one of the strongest warriors in the clan. Warscar, leader of the Clan of the Falling Ashes saw this strength and took a particular interest in the young warrior, testing her skills at every opportunity. Fights never came, but Ace kept training. It was no longer about self defense, but making her clan proud.

Ace's self taught skills are both an advantage and a disadvantage. On the one hand, her style is unique and surprises her opponents. On the other, her training is somewhat incomplete as there are many skills and tactics she couldn't teach herself.
