Murbles, the Speedy Beeper

The fastest in his clan, Murbles fled after being chastised for his odd coloring among his green and brown hatchmates. His exceptionally long legs as well as aerodynamic shape allowed him to escape before being eaten by his own parents, and he soon figured out his super-special talent of beeping while running. He found love in a hopeless place, in the newly-founded lair of misfits under the name "Baby Socks." His boyfriend, Smornchy, promised him eternal peace and love in exchange for a race between the two fastest runners in the Baby Sock lair. If Smornchy lost, he would give up his title to Murbles and ask him for his hand in marriage. However, what he didn't tell Murbles is that if he won, he would still marry him anyways out of sheer respect for his athletic talents. The two live together in their own slice of heaven among the rest of the band of outcasts.
