Goop would be best described as a character with a chaotic neutral alignment. He cares very little for rules but does heed the laws of his clan when they suit him. Depending on his mood, Goop can be either good or evil.

Likes: Goop likes anything food related, especially his favorite meal: rock seared Serpae Tetras with a side of boiled Wetland Vampire Eel. He loves how slimy the eel is so usually he swallows that whole before he even gets it back to his lair.

Dislikes: Crowds. Goop can’t stand the hustle and bustle of dragons’ voices all around. It is disconcerting to him and makes his heart pound uncomfortably. He also doesn’t like areas where he can’t smell the soothing odor of sulfur. Which entails everywhere except for his swamp.

Occupation: Outpost Hunter, this occupation is for those in the clan that live out in the field and provide for the clan through fighting and gathering food.

Residence: The Sulfur Swamp, this dreary body of water is mostly liquid sulfur. Only the hardiest of fish species, if they can even be called that, live in this tiny area in the Scarred Wasteland.

Lore

____Sound carries easily through the limestone caverns that form the network of tunnels beneath the bubbling, tepid waters of the Sulfur Swamp. Taps, like tiny little microphones, were embedded in the soft stone and collected all sounds for the set of monitors in a humble chamber within a peculiar structure of metal and other materials. Seated at the monitors was a male Ridgeback by the name of Goop. His nickname arose from the translucence of his underbelly. Where other Ridgebacks had solid scales, he had soft gelatinous looking skin. A low growl rumbled in his throat when a proximity alarm was triggered.

____What is he doing here, wondered Goop.
He stared with irritation a moment longer at the dark figure standing above one of his video surveillance cameras. He may prefer to live alone in the sticks but he was still a lightning dragon. An affinity for gadgets and tools was in his heart. Besides, he always loved it when some fool fell for one of his traps. The dark figure on the camera was Kadachi, the self-proclaimed general of the Clan.
“Goop! Get out here at once! I know you’re listening, lazy lout!”
Goop huffed but left his spot and walked to the exit of his mobile submersible lair. He dove into the foul waters and swam to where Kadachi was located. It always made Goop laugh on the inside that Kadachi could never find his lair. Goop swamp to the surface and walked up onto the land. “You called?”
“Bwuh, you reek! How can you swim in that foul water?” Kadachi was covering his snout with his left forepaw. “Just thinking of touching it makes my scales crawl.”
“It’s not water,” answered Goop, “It’s liquid sulfur.”
“Yeah, keep telling yourself that. If it’s your way of getting over our species’ fear of water and keeps you fishing for the clan.”
“Liquid sulfur,” insisted Goop.
“Enough. I’m here for business. You and I have been dispatched to deal with an unwanted guest. There is a pack of Beastclan, various species, that is repeatedly raiding one of our outposts.”
“It is an order,” asked Goop.
“From the top. All the way from her. The dragon guarding the outpost is one of her children. Tch, I’ve never liked favoritism but here we are.”
“Will there be fish,” asked Goop.
Kadachi blinked, flabbergasted. “What? No!”
Goop shook his head. “Then I won’t go.”
A deep growl rumbled from Kadachi’s throat. “Of all the- argh! Fine! If you help me then I will give you some of my Tetras.”
Goop’s eyes narrowed and a toothy grin pulled his lips apart. “There is nothing wrong with the love for fish Kadachi. You’ve got yourself a partner for this mission.”

Biography

____Goop is a simple dragon with simple desires. He wants to live in peace to hoard away the baubles and materials he gathers and eat fish. Oh, how he loves fish. His colleagues back in the Shifting Expanse could never understand, those tired overworked engineers. They truly lost all imagination of love or simple things. That is what brought Goop to this clan. He likes how loosely they operate and let each individual pursue their goals. It does get troublesome though when he actually has to help. After all, they rarely give him any compensation! Not even a single trout! But that is why he likes going on missions with Kadachi. At least Kadachi understands to an extent. Goop would call Kadachi a friend, of a sort at least.

Familiar

____Goop attained the loyalty of the Rat King in a mighty fight that had established both himself and Kadachi in the Clan. While Kadachi rose to higher things in the clan’s hierarchy, Goop got a companion that liked the Sulfur Swamp as much as he did. Truly it was a well fated match. Goop likes the ruthlessness of the Rat King when it goes fishing with him. He an respect a King that is willing to get his paws dirty so Goop doesn’t mind sharing the spoils of a successful fishing day with his familiar.

Kadachi is one of the dragons of the clan that Goop would consider a friend, if the word was used loosely. He doesn’t trust Kadachi very much but at least Kadachi will share fish with him after a good mission!

Kota is her, the dragon that started it all for this clan. Goop appreciates her efforts to make him feel as comfortable as he does as a member of this clan. He finds that she can be a little overbearing but that might be due to her caring for hatchlings all the time.

Aravi is Goop’s mate. He finds it amusing how law abiding his beloved is. He can not deny her knowledge as a healer however. That knowledge has saved him every now and again. Which is a fact that she will not let him forget.
