the ache in his chest is a familiar one.

the moons look beautiful in the darkened sky tonight. they shine down upon him like twin spotlights, warming him to the soul with their cool beams. every night, he watches them, and every night, he's overcome by the same sense of longing. it eats away at him, all consuming, until he's left a husk of fur and scale. there's a reason luna was in the word lunatic.

moonstruck.

wistful, melancholy. he yearns and yearns and never stops yearning. never stops wanting. there is no end to his cycle of aspirations.
