Introduction & History
_ Gateway Between The Earth and Stars!

Founded by a student of the Arcanist, known as Minerva, this clan on the edge of Dragonhome floats high in the sky off to the west of the Parched Canyonwalks, where both the lands of Arcane and Earth meet. Known to be a hub of trade and scholarly pursuits, the archipelago is both a gateway to connection and discovery!

Social Structure: The Five Factions of Skybreach

To better keep itself organized, Skybreach has established a social structure based on the skillsets needed to sustain and improve the clan. They are the Scholars (Education), Merchants (Economy), Warriors (Strength), Keepers (Stability), and Pathfinders (Expansion).

Scholars
A central faction to what would be a defining feature of Skybreach - the Academy! Both students and teachers become a part of this faction to obtain and share knowledge with each other. This faction was particularly the reason why it was founded and plays a big role in supporting both the Arcanist and the Earthshaker's goals. By the Earthshaker's request however, certain studies are deemed too dangerous and therefore not taught here, much to the Arcanist's disappointment. But hey, don't want to end up summoning an otherworldly terror, now do we?

Many businesses dot the islands of the archipelago, offering different goods and services to locals and visitors alike. From distributers of food, to outfitters, trinket sellers, entertainers - you name it - each merchant plays a part in keeping the economy of Skybreach steady and helps bring forward some much needed improvements to the isles as well. Also, did you hear that clan members get a special discount? I'd consider joining them if I could, but I've got a whole world to keep records of!

Though they're not exactly fond of building a military force or anything of a legion, the dragons of Skybreach do have a need for a few passionate warriors, which all tend to gather around the fighter's guild from which this faction sprang from. Wether you're a seasoned warrior from the Icewarden's frigid domain or an aspiring scrapper fresh out of the academy, the guild welcomes you to partake in lending your strength to a higher cause.

You can't have a thriving community without someone to maintain it, now can you? Much like a garden which needs someone to look after it so that it may grow, the Keepers of Skybreach are here to make sure everything on the islands is properly cared for, and that role expands to beyond just the gardeners! There is also the doctors, mechanics, garbage collectors, mediators, and various caretakers as well, contributing among their ranks, and much more! All vital work to keep the clan together and living comfortably.

Just because your home is high in the sky, doesn't mean you shouldn't venture out to new horizons. Skybreach is always in need of supplies from other lands and staying connected with the rest of the world is still important, even if you are living atop lofty levitating islands. If foraging, becoming a messenger to another clan, or delving into ruins long forgotten is your jam, then sign up with this one. Adventure awaits!
