"That's it?" Blood dripped from his forehead. The prince wiped his brow; he grinned ear-to-ear at the sight of crimson staining his palm.

Volatile fighter who disregards all rules in order to win. He fights with his family for no reasons other than to squabble and practice 'the art of debate.' He is stubborn and refuses to admit faults ninety percent of the time.

In recent times he has a legitimate reason to despise his sibling. Prometheus' assistance gave way to Noire ousting the existing elders and established council of Clan Pendulum. Despite Ares' best efforts, he could not stop the Gaoler, and received grievous injuries during the infighting.

Ares reluctantly began to work in the Dawn Command under Captain Nubis, only to discover he gets along surprisingly well with the unit. He has begrudgingly accepted his defeat at Prometheus' hands during the years of coups, although only time will tell whether he means those words or if he intends to emerge as a contender for control of the dragons within the Order.
