Gen 2 Imperial of Shep and Melia Mate: Sheppard _______________________________ ___At first glance, one would assume that Aryndell is a delicate flower, needing protection by his strong, silent mate. That glance would miss the determination in Aryndell’s eyes, the strength in his limbs, the sharpness of his claws and the might of his magic. Aryndell learned to use such stereotypes to his advantage when he was in his homeworld, and he kept some of the tactics up when he entered Sornieth and joined his new clan. Few know about his history, how his father was brutally slaughtered in front of him by rulers who should have been protecting them. Only two in his new clan know of his past, in fact, his mate Sheppard (or Shep as he prefers to refer to him) and his sister in all but blood Luna. Her family took him in once his father was killed and his mother disappeared, and he clung to her when they came to the new world together. |

___Aryndell is a fierce battler, but he is also exceedingly gentle at times. He is the best brewer in their clan and is always converting useless trinkets that other dragons give them into useful materials that he then uses to create more food, apparel, or whatever else their clan needs at that point. It took him time to reconcile his desire for Sheppard with the fact that his name always brought to mind his father and memories he preferred to keep buried. He eventually just shortened his lover’s name, calling him Shep, and found that curling up together with him is a wonderful antidote to the nightmares that still occasionally plague him. While Shep will give him gifts of jewels, Aryndell’s gifts to his beloved tend to come in the form of apparel, all brewed specially for him, and Sheppard’s closet is crammed with more apparel than one dragon could realistically wear. Still, he loves his new life with his beloved, even if he is fast running out of room for all of the jewelry boxes he needed to commission to hold his mate’s frequent gifts.
