B I O G R A P H Y

As you enter The Tangled Forest, trees dressed in shadows tower above you, swaying in the wind. Spindly branches extend from the shadowed columns, frail spider legs weaving a trap to further ensnare you. Ivy tendrils strangle the bark, ripping at the moss-dotted covering, revealing slightly rotten wood underneath. The remnants of fallen leaves crunch beneath your feet, echoing amidst the purple landscape. The absence of sound from any other creatures is harrowing, and you wonder whether you should turn back. Thunder roars, and chills sing down your spine as rain begins to splatter against the bare trees, the sound harsh and unforgiving without leaves to break the heavy beat of rain on hollow wood. You stumble over one of the many large roots - the veins of the forest, carrying life and powerful energy - protruding from the damp soil. Everything appears darker than before, so you look up. A large Guardian overshadows you.
